44th Annual Daytime Emmy Date Set!

Can you believe we’re talking about the Daytime Emmy ceremony already when we just finished another big American contest?

Yet here we are getting ready for Emmy season, because the date for the annual award show has already been set. Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 30 to see which of your favorite soap stars bring home the gold.

According to Soap Central, you’ll learn the Daytime Emmy pre-nominations on January 25 and the final nominees on March 22 when they’re announced on The Talk as they were last year.

Last year, the Daytime Emmys were not televised and fans had to rely on social media and Periscope screens from the actors to learn who won. Soap Hub kept everyone informed in real time so you knew when Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas, GH), Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan, GH), and others held their trophy. There’s no word on whether the ceremony will be televised this year, but we’ll keep you updated as we know more.
