General Hospital is known for its young love stories. It goes all the way back to Laura and Scott, and including Frisco and Felicia, Robin and Stone (Michael Sutton), and Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante.
But young love hasn’t been too heavily in bloom, lately. Michael (Chad Duell) is the original Lonely guy, and Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) were more about death than life…or love.
We assume Molly (Hayley Pulleous) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) are still going strong. We have to assume because we rarely see them. Should Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Jordan’s (Brianna Nicole Henry) kids be moved to the front burner? Almost 7000 fans voted:
Gimme More
That would be great, 70% of you cheer. Molly is smartest and most level-headed of the Davis girls — and, yes, that includes her mother. It would be nice to see her thinking, instead of Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) whining and Sam panting after Jason (Steve Burton).
And TJ…well, we don’t know much about TJ. But we’d like to. He seems to be a sweet, smart kid, worthy of Molly… and a chance to shine on the front burner. As a doctor, no less. On a hospital show.
Less Is More
On the other hand, 30% are happy with Molly and TJ jus the way they are. Sure, they’re sweet, and smart, and devoted, and upstanding. They’re also, how to put this nicely… boring.
On a soap, being on the front burner means being crazy and evil and scheming. Or, at the very least, a passive victim. Molly and TJ are neither. Which is why they will always be supported, a shoulder to cry on and cheer to lead. They can continue their romance, maybe even get married and have kids…on the edge of the screen.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
