It’s a milestone time for soaps this week. The Young and the Restless (YR) turns 45 Monday with stars returning for a big plot, and on General Hospital (GH) it’s old home week on Friday when the soap celebrates its 55th anniversary.
Yes, technically the big day for GH is April 1, but since that’s a Sunday, the show’s pulling out all the stops at the Metro Court this Friday to remind us all about Port Charles of year’s past–and advance its current plots.
Heck, we even get a performance from the new PC mayor as Ned Quartermaine morphs into Eddie Maine for a standout performance. Now, what could be better than that?
