When Maxie took that pregnancy test, did a little workout during her three-minute wait, and then ruined Olivia’s Thanksgiving spread by hurling all over it, nobody could guess that Nathan wouldn’t be there to welcome his first child on General Hospital (GH).
Now, thanks to social media, Nathan has been able to send his son a beautiful message of love and hope for the future. Or rather, actor Ryan Paevey has following the birth of his on-screen son yesterday.
Paevey took to Twitter on Monday night with some special words of wisdom only a ‘father’ could bring.
“Welcome to the world, little one….it’s a scary place sometimes, and i so wish i could have been there to show you all the good stuff. Your mother loves you, and will take care of you and teach you….watch out for her her for me will ya?”
Now, we have no idea what’s going to happen to this little man as Maxie notices him missing from the NICU today and a baby switch has been on everyone’s mind since Nelle announced her pregnancy, but we hope all’s well that ends well and Maxie and her son end up together in the end.
Even better? Maxie learns to lean on someone other than Peter who delivered her baby and then promptly drove to the pier to pull a gun on Anna. Better taste, Maxie, better taste.
Of course, a returned-from-the-dead-Nathan would make things perfect, so calling Ryan Paevey? We can dream, can’t we?
