Rumors have been circulating for weeks that both Emme Rylan and William deVry had been let go from General Hospital. Although the show has not confirmed these rumors, social media posts from both performers hint that’s exactly what has happened.
Last week Soap Hub reported that Emme Rylan said life changes had prompted her and her family to go on a long road trip and see where that takes them, but also said she could not address her work issues — while deVry retweeted various photos of him and fans taken at personal appearances.
And William deVry has been posting about new beginnings off and on over the last week also saying if he leaves GH, he is NOT coming back. On Thursday morning, he tweeted more about goodbyes that had fans commenting how much they’d miss him and Julian.
The actor tweeted a photo of outside the Prospect Studios where GH tapes and said: “Good-Bye Yellow Brick Road” and “Say Good-Bye to Hollywood”? Songs of the day?” That seemed to make many fans sad to see deVry go and they told him so.
Could this be deVry’s last day on the set and, if so, what does that mean for Julian Jerome? The character did just make a deal with the proverbial devil when he agreed to sell Charlie’s to Cyrus (Jeff Kober) in exchange for him “taking care of” his Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) problem. Well, Ryan has been stabbed and we’re pretty sure Cyrus had something to do with that. Now that Julian is involved with Cyrus’s world, the danger will surely follow, and does that mean the end of Julian Jerome? Stay tuned to find out… General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
