William DeVry Heads Back to GH: What’s Next for Julexis?

William DeVry resurfaces as lovable mobster Julian Jerome on General Hospital shortly.

In fact, he appears Monday, November 6 episode. Team Julexis – that is, fans addicted to the Julian and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahan) love story – have been anxiously awaiting deVry’s return for months.

The character was sent to prison in August, when contract negotiations between the actor and show stalled. But, thankfully, everything eventually worked out.

What happens next for Julian and Julexis, now that he’s back onscreen? Here are a few possibilities.

Reunited and It Feels So… Clandestine
Alexis had made peace, sort of, with Julian being behind bars for a long time. It allowed her to push her feelings for her longtime love aside and not have to deal with them.

Once Julian is back in town and Alexis is forced to confront him, face to face, we’re betting he works his wiles on her, she caves and, eventually, lets him back into her life and bed.

However, don’t be surprised if Alexis keeps their reconciliation from the kids, as well as the rest of Port Charles.

Three’s Company
Now that Alexis has struck up a “friendship” with Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva), she may not want to get back on the disastrous Julian train. The good doctor is pretty much everything Julian isn’t – honest, respected, an upstanding citizen of society…

Alexis could opt to go the straight and narrow route and not give Julian a tumble when he resurfaces. But would Julian really stand for seeing his woman with another man? Probably not. It’s a safe bet he’ll go into overdrive to do everything he has to do to win her back, paving the way for a front-burner triangle.

Family Affair
GH could decide to work Julian back into Alexis’s life gradually and through their family. Namely, their daughter, Sam (Kelly Monaco). After all, her life is about to get thrown into major turmoil, now that she finds herself with two men claiming to be her husband Jason (Billy Miller and Steve Burton).

Will Sam gravitate towards the old familiar face she first fell in love with or the new man who’s won her heart? Alexis and Julian could find themselves working together to support Sam through her emotional quandary, offering her their love and support. And, in the process, the pair could slowly reconnect with one another.
