Oh, Nelle, what have you done now? If you couldn’t even play a trusting puppy dog like Michael (Chad Duell) on General Hospital (GH), whatever gave you the idea that you could play with the big boys (and girls) like Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina (Michelle Stafford)?

Bad To the Bone
Nelle came to town and promptly weaseled her way into Carly’s (Laura Wright) life. Hmmm, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) mused, something here sure looks and feels familiar!

Oh, mom, you don’t know what you’re talking about, know-it-all Carly continued to know it all. Right up until Nelle set up Sonny (Maurice Benard) to believe they’d slept together.

It wasn’t hard, Sonny took it as a given that no woman would be able to keep away from him.

Once that plot was exposed, she moved onto Michael, neglecting to mention that whole dead fiance bit. And now the blackmail attempt against first Valentin, then Nina. The girl is just bad, sigh 84% of you, and she’s never going to change.

Not even if they discover a tumor in her head. Who do you think Nelle is? Franco (Roger Howarth)?

Give Her a Break, She Sure Deserves It
Maybe Bobbie should take it a little easy with the judgment, counter 15% of the audience. She pulled quite a few stunts herself before ascending into GH sainthood. Ask Scotty (Kin Shriner). Or Laura (Genie Francis).

Bobbie had to hit rock bottom – who remembers the abusive husband and the hysterical stepdaughter? – and so does Nelle, before she realizes it’s time to take stock of her life and maybe make a few better choices. She’s young, she can still pull herself together and quit with the criminal acts. Who do you think Nelle is? Sonny?
