Brad is dancing as fast as he can on General Hospital, trying to keep Wiley’s true parentage from coming out. He’s got a lot to lose if people learn that the little guy is really the biological son of Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier).
Parry Shen Speaks Out
Not only will Sonny (Maurice Benard) not be happy, but Brad might lose his position at General Hospital if word leaks out he’s been lying for over a year. But those things aren’t Brad’s biggest concerns — it’s losing something far more important to him than his job or even his health.
“Having the wrath of Sonny focused on Brad is always a looming threat,” Shen told TV Insider. “But not having really been exposed to that world of violence on a first-hand basis, it’s a very ethereal threat. What really frightens Brad is Lucas discovering his secret — because then his life as he knows it is over anyway.”
Watch Out For Julian
Brad’s already made one costly mistake — trusting Julian (William deVry) — and that backfired! “Brad enlisted the perfect person that he thought had a vested interest and skillset to keep the baby-swap secret,” Shen said.
“However, he made a grave error in lashing out his frustrations upon Julian because you don’t want to be on his bad side. He, who was once his ally, has now become his adversary.” (Currently, unbeknownst to Brad.)
Since his debut, Brad’s gone from Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) partner-in-crime to family man, who doesn’t want to lose what he has — and it’s all because of Lucas.
“[O]nce he found someone to care about [Lucas], and he, in turn, exposed Brad to the wonderful things that could come from being a part of a community and a family and belonging. It’s made Brad want that for himself.”
Will Brad be able to hang onto his treasured family? Or will the truth be exposed? Stay tuned to find out. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
