Like many monarchies, the Chief of Staff at General Hospital is often a hereditary position. Steve Hardy and his son, Tom, have held it. So have husband and wife Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica (Leslie Charleson) Quartermaine. Then there was Liesl Obrecht. She used to be Chief of Staff. Now her daughter, Britt is.
General Hospital Polling
Will Liesl (Kathleen Gati) use what she knows about Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and her health — never mind her being with former fugitive Jason (Steve Burton) — to become Queen of the Hill again? Over 5,000 voters have some very firm opinions.
All Good Now
A majority 71% of you don’t see it happening. Not now, anyway. Maybe in the past, when the two hated each other. Liesl for her Britt not being the son Faison (Anders Hove) wanted. (We’re not going to discuss how she gave away the son he wanted to be raised by her sister.) But they’ve come a long way since then. They can actually share girl talk. Mutter won’t turn on her little girl now.
Self Care
A smaller 16% of the audience, on the other hand, knows that Liesl is only out to take care of one person: And that’s Liesl. She’s got to be itching to get back on top, and if her daughter is who she needs to knock out of the way to make it happen, well then, bring on the possibly having a fatal disease shaming!
Fight Club
A last-place 13% do also expect that to happen, but they expect it to be triggered by a fight. Britt is bound to do something that upsets Liesl sooner or later – and vice versa. Old grudges will be drudged up, insults will be tossed around, accusations made, and, next thing you know, Mother Blabs All! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
