Will Laura Ever Accept Cyrus as Family On General Hospital?

When General Hospital fans think of Laura’s parents, they think of Lesley and Rick Webber, even though Lesley thought Laura was dead for the first decade of her life and only reunited with her as a wayward teen, and Rick happened to be the man Lesley was married to when all that went down.

Viewers always kind of, sort of knew that Laura had a biological father and that his name was Gordon Grey. But they never gave him much thought. He never had anything to do with her. Now, however, it turns out that Gordon also had a pair of sons, Martin (Michael E. Knight), and Cyrus (Jeff Kober). The latter is a mobster. Will Laura (Genie Francis) ever accept her new brother? What almost 4,000 expect:

Not In This Lifetime

A majority 63% of you don’t expect to see it happen. This is the most tentative of bloodlines. Laura never even met Gordon, much less consider him her father. So her sperm donor had some other kids. That doesn’t mean she needs to have anything to do with them.

Care Less

A smaller 27% of the audience figures she’ll accept he’s her biological brother, but that doesn’t mean she’ll care one way or the other. He can live, die, leave town, no skin off Laura’s nose. Then again, he’d better keep his nose clean on this Mayor’s watch. Laura has quite a bit of experience taking down Port Charles mobsters… when she feels like it.

Clean Up, Cyrus

Laura could extend an olive branch to her brother, 10% speculate if Cyrus cleans up his act and becomes a good mobster rather than a bad one. He should go to Sonny (Maurice Benard). He’ll explain the distinction. Maybe by next Christmas, Cyrus will be hanging out at the Collins house, basking in the family love. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
