It’s been a heck of a year–this thing we call 2016–and on soaps, we’d love to see it end on a high note.
General Hospital has seen death and destruction, but it might also see a happy ending (well, we hope not an actual ending) for a PC star-crossed couple.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) are set to take their vows on New Year’s Eve, but will it actually happen? That’s the question Soap Hub posed and you seem optimistic.
Get This Show On The Road
Out of nearly 7,000 votes, 74% of you are confident that this year, we get three weddings in Port Charles, and this wedding won’t end with Nathan and a gunshot wound (and him uttering the ominous “Claudette” while doped up after surgery).
It’s been three years since Maxie and Nathan first laid eyes on each other and what better way to celebrate than with a wedding that goes off without a hitch.
Don’t Think So
A smaller 24% think something is bound to go wrong. After all, spoilers indicate that Nathan’s past is coming back to haunt him once again on his wedding day.
That can’t be good for the happy couple, but who knows? Maybe this past will wait to do something until after they utter those vows.
The Jury Is Out
The remaining 2% have mixed feelings. A few people aren’t Naxie fans at all and don’t care what happens, and others aren’t sure what might take place. Still others say they hope not and are quite adamant about it.
