Wild Speculation: Will Jordan Actually Die On General Hospital?

Things haven’t been looking too good for Jordan on General Hospital ever since Drew mowed her down with his car. She has been fighting for her life and trying to tell everyone that she’s perfectly fine but we know that isn’t the truth but is it even worse than everyone realizes? Even TJ?

Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) is one of the toughest women in Port Charles and as police commissioner, she’s faced off with more than her share of bad guys but being tough won’t get her the new kidney that she so desperately needs. But would the show really kill off Jordan?

It certainly would be shocking, since many are probably waiting for Oscar (Garren Stitt) to die and donate his kidney to a waiting Jordan (can someone with cancer really donate–though that’s neither here nor there for this commentary). So why wouldn’t the show do the unexpected?

So, what would Jordan’s death do to Port Charles? It could truly shake up several stories and create opportunities aplenty. Her position would be open at the Port Charles Police Department, possibly creating a reason to keep Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) in town. Or Anna (Finola Hughes) or Mac (John J. York) could also take back their old jobs.

Donnell Turner seems to have incredible chemistry with everyone under the sun on the show as Curtis, except perhaps his onscreen bride. This would give him a chance to find another actor he clicks with even more and fans could root for him to eventually have a sweeping love story.

It might have worked for him with Henry had the show broken up the couple and had them try to start over fresh, so fans could invest in their version of the Curtis and Jordan love story but they didn’t and it’s felt forced, through no fault of the very capable actress.

It could also affect TJ (Tajh Bellow) and his relationship with Molly (Haley Pullos), as he starts to re-evaluate his life and everything about it — which can happen when someone loses a parent.

While we’re not saying we want to see this happen and it’s just speculation, it could really shake up Port Charles and General Hospital. Guess we’ll have to tune in to see what happens.
