Carly’s dying to meet Oscar’s mom on General Hospital, but dedicated viewers of the ABC soap are far more interested in another of the teen’s relatives – his missing father.
In a recent conversation with his girlfriend Josslyn (Eden McCoy), Oscar (Garren Stitt) admitted that he doesn’t bring up the subject to his mother. It makes her uncomfortable, and she clearly doesn’t want to talk about it.
In daytime land that’s a huge red flag that something major is amiss. And, if that’s the case, the character is practically guaranteed to be someone who’s already on the canvas.
Who are the options to actually be Oscar’s dad? Here are four scenarios that make perfect storyline sense.
Drew
If Billy Miller turns out to be Drew and not the real Jason, what better way to keep him in Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) world than to have him turn out to be the father of Josslyn’s beau?
It would mean he’d continue to play a role in both their lives, as they navigate through their kids’ first real romance.
Plus, Drew’s past ties to Oscar’s mom could turn the Jason/Sam/Drew triangle into a quadrangle.
Griffin
Having Griffin (Matt Cohen) be Oscar’s dad is another interesting possibility. The former priest showed he was a natural at fatherhood, when he was led to believe that Charlotte was his daughter.

He’d likely welcome a son with open arms and go all out to make up for lost time with Oscar. The revelation would also throw a curve into Griffin’s budding relationship with Ava (Maura West), as Oscar’s mom suddenly reentered his life.
Franco
Carly and Sonny will always loathe Franco (Roger Howarth), no matter his numerous attempts at redemption. If he were Oscar’s dad, it would immediately put the duo on edge.
Knowing Carly, she’d go all out to put the kibosh on Josslyn and Oscar’s romance to ensure the possibility of her and Franco becoming in-laws way down the line would never come to pass. And, all of the above would ignite a major mother/daughter battle between Carly and Josslyn.
Julian
Isn’t it time another kid from Julian’s (William deVry) past resurfaced? The move would totally work Oscar into the entire Port Charles fold, as he’d suddenly be siblings with Sam (Kelly Monaco), Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Leo, and cousins with Avery and Kiki (Hayley Erin).
Plus, like Franco, Julian is also despised by Carly and Sonny, which means they’d both be working overtime to keep him out of Jossyln’s life by whatever means necessary.
