General Hospital has been forced to temporarily recast yet another character. But while Jordan Ashford might have a new face, courtesy of actress and professional dancer Tiffany Daniels, she’ll still be dealing with the same old problems.
Tiffany Daniels – GH’s Temporary Jordan Ashford
With Briana Nicole Henry sidelined after testing positive for COVID 19, GH has tapped Tiffany Daniels to pinch-hit for the foreseeable future. Though Daniels is new to the world of daytime soap operas, she’s hardly a novice performer.
The San Diego, California native is a graduate of the city’s famed School of Creative and Performing Arts, as well as Cornell University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.
After a year spent at Hollywood’s Edge Performing Arts Center, Daniels became a member of the Los Angeles Laker Girls (2005-2006 season), then she landed a role in the first national tour of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple.
Subsequently, she appeared in a series of television commercials – for companies such as Dell, Wal-Mart, Toyota, Diet Pepsi, Greyhound, and Mike and Ikes. She was a featured dancer in episodes of several primetime programs, including Cold Case, Nickelodeon’s The Fresh Beat Band, Shake it Up, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as feature films like Gangster Squad, LA LA Land, and Make Your Move.
Daniels, who made her General Hospital debut on Tuesday, January 26, has certainly been thrown into the proverbial deep end. Jordan is currently separated from her husband, Curtis (Donnell Turner). He’s been resisting the lure of reconciliation because of Jordan’s seeming inability to lay all her cards on the table.
Further compounding Jordan’s trouble is an estrangement from her son and his girlfriend, as well as the threat posed by her former blackmailer Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
