Who Is the Best Mom on General Hospital?

There’s no shortage of devoted mothers on General Hospital, but who’s tops among Carly, Laura, and Alexis?

It’s a tough call, but Soap Hub posed the question and fans eagerly responded. Votes were pretty much split between two of Port Charles mama bears with the third garnering a respectable showing. Read on to find out who came out on top among cool Carly, the long-beloved Laura, and legal eagle Alexis.

Carly Rules
Carly (Laura Wright) is tops according to 46% of fans. She protects and defends her children with everything she’s got, and, on top of that, she’s a super cool mom. Heck, at times Kristina has found it easier to confide in her than her own mother, Alexis.

Love That Laura
Laura (Genie Francis) will always be the personification of mom to 43% of you. You’ve admired her relationship with Nikolas and Lucky, and absolutely adore the rapport she shares with her only daughter, Lulu. She’s understanding, nonjudgmental and everything you perceive a great mother to be.

Admiring Alexis
Poor Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) only received 11% of the vote. Fans in her camp admire the way she’s pretty much raised her girls alone. She’s the commendable single mom, who’s managed to effortlessly combine a powerful career with a strong, nurtured family. However, her new bout with alcoholism has some questioning her judgement.
