They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps but can you guess who this little darling grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Now, obviously this young lady (now all grown up) is currently starring on one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She is a former professional model, a reality show competitor, and soap hopper – with at least two serials under her belt. And we’re sure another soap would chomp at the bit to have her on their show.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Heather Tom (Katie Logan, B&B), Kelly Thiebaud (Zoey Burges, DAYS), Kelly Monaco (Sam, GH), or Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R)?
Heather Tom
Sure, Tom has been in the acting “biz” since the age of 2. Yes, she did indeed get the occasional modeling job. And she has certainly appeared in a number soaps – Y&R, One Life to Live, and of course, B&B – but she isn’t today’s featured star.
Kelly Thiebaud
Now she may be represented by Brand Model and Talent Agency, and both a former music video starlet and a performer on both DAYS (where she has played Alicia and Zoey) and GH (as Britt), but Thiebaud isn’t our mystery child.
Kelly Monaco
If you guessed that the picture might be of a young Miss Monaco then you were right on the money! Not only is this much-beloved actress well known for her work on GH (where she plays the frequently-in-peril private investigator Sam McCall) but many still remember her as Port Charles’ Livvie Locke (and her sister/magical twin Tess Ramsey).
Monaco was also the first recipient of the Dancing with the Stars “Mirror Ball Trophy,” a former Playboy Playmate of the Month (for April 1997), and one of Maxim’s Hot 100.
Amelia Heinle
Though we’ve already figured out just who today’s little cutie is, we’d be remiss if we didn’t give Amelia Heinle a brief moment in the sun. She is, after all, a beloved daytime veteran with a resume that includes Loving (Steffi) and All My Children (Mia) as well as her current gig on Y&R as Victoria Newman. She also appeared in the Everclear music video for I Will Buy You a New Life.
