MIA: Which GH Character Deserves A Storyline–STAT???

General Hospital
 Comments

General Hospital has a lot of characters and alas, there’s only an hour a day for those folks to have screentime. Consequently, many of your favorites are simmering on the backburner.

Soap Hub asked GH fans which character they’d like to see have more storyline and the answers may — or may not — surprise you!

Paging, Dr. Jones!
Ryan Carnes‘ Lucas earned the highest percentage of votes, 37% to be exact. This comes as no surprise to the fan favorite’s followers. Carnes has been on and off the Port Charles canvas for over a decade. (His first appearance was in July of 2004!)

Given Lucas’ ties to the community — his adopted mom is Bobbie; his biological pop is Julian; his husband, Brad, works at GH; and Lucas himself is a doctor! — it only makes sense for Dr. Jones and his rock hard abs to have more screentime. And may we add “Stat!”

Alexis’s Daughters

Fans also want to see more storyline for Alexis’s daughters, Molly (Haley Pullous) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), who earned, respectively, 23% and 22% of your votes.

GH could kill two birds with one stone by giving these two siblings a joint storyline. Perhaps the two could team up to help their mom, who can’t quite seem to let go of bad boy Julian, or Molly could help reunite Kristina and Parker?

Another avenue for the two to go down would be drawing a line in the sand with Sonny. Kristina recently told her crime lord dad that she had hoped things would have changed in light of Morgan’s death.

If Sonny were to ever get out of the mob, then we’d likely see more of his kids since they’d be most happy about the switch.

Family Ties
Coming in last in the poll with a respectable 18% is TJ (Tequan Richmond). Perhaps he scored the lowest because story line for TJ is picking up somewhat with the recent arrival of his great-aunt Stella (Vernee Watson)?

We’ve seen more of the young man since Stella came to Port Charles and if she sticks around we might see TJ’s screentime continue to increase.
