General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been following pretty much an identical path her entire life. See hot guy, lose all sense and self-control, fall into bed (or car), give birth to daughter, make speech about girl power forever, make same stupid mistakes all over again.
All of her baby daddies have proven to be bad guys willing to throw her under a bus at a moment’s notice, and prompting her to commit crimes – legal and ethical – that she would lecture any other woman to never, ever do for a man.
But which scuzz-ball was your favorite and which do you think is Alexis’ soulmate? Almost 8000 matchmakers shared their take:
First Imprint
When drunk teen Alexis slept with Julian (William deVry) in the back of his car she didn’t even know he was a junior mobster in training, but obviously his type imprinted on her for life.
Daughter Sam (Kelly Monaco) was already all grown up and a criminal in her own right when they reunited and fell in love. Sure, Julian got Alexis sent to jail and tried to kill her and drove her to drink, but 56% of you still believe he’s the best thing that ever happened to her. Which is really kind of sad, especially since it’s true.
You Must Love Me
It’s a Port Charles law that all women (and select hit-men) must fall for Sonny (Maurice Benard), so Alexis really can’t be blamed for her lousy judgment here.
They share a daughter, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), and 28% of fans still long for a ‘Sexis’ reunion. Though considering Sonny’s tendency to go younger and younger in age with his love interests, Alexis long ago exited the possibility zone.
Slick Ric
Ric (Rick Hearst) was sort of a Sonny-lite. He was his half-brother and also prone to nefarious deeds, so – good enough. Yes, this means half-sisters Kristina and Molly (Haley Pullos) are also cousins. Is a family reunion in Alexis’ future, since 15% of viewers insist Ric was her true love match?
