General Hospital‘s Jacinda is living the good life these days. She’s working for Crimson… she’s sleeping with Michael… What could be better? We don’t know. But we do have three suggestions as to what could make it more… interesting.
Key Takeaways
- Is Jacinda in it for the free stuff?
- Is Jacinda in it for AJ?
- Is Jacinda in it for Nelle?
Jacinda’s Lifestyle With Michael Feels Convenient, and That’s the Red Flag
When viewers first met Jacinda (Paige Herschell, who revealed she initially auditioned for another role), she was hired to make trouble for Drew (Cameron Mathison). The next time we saw her, she was being vague about Michael’s (Rory Gibson) alibi.
With a resume like that, is it any wonder that we’re hoping her relationship with Michael is about more than just giving out freebies from the Crimson merchandise closet and asking for kick-backs from vendors? That would be anti-climactic. However, what if….
An AJ Twist Would Give Jacinda a Personal Reason to Target the Corinthos Family
For years, viewers have wondered what AJ (Sean Kanan) was up to during the decades he was presumed dead. Why, he had time to start a whole other family! Now, Jacinda couldn’t be his daughter, because that would make her biologically related to Michael.
But we can see Jacinda being a beloved step-daughter. After all, Michael considers his stepdad, Sonny (Maurice Benard), his father. Why couldn’t Jacinda consider herself AJ’s daughter? And the perfect person to avenge the Corinthos clan, including Carly (Laura Wright), treated him.
A Nelle Connection Would Make Jacinda Far More Dangerous Than She Seems
Jacinda is also the right age to have been Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) friend. The Corinthos family was awful to Nelle, as well. A close friend looking to make them all suffer, starting with Michael, could be a fun plotline, too.
And if Jacinda were a friend of Nelle’s, she’d have an even stronger connection to Nina (Cynthia Watros). Just think of what damage they could do — together?
