General Hospital (GH) fans finally know which man is Jason and which one is Drew – for the moment, there is absolutely nothing to say this won’t change several times down the line, depending on executive producers, head writers, and sweeps month needs. (But we see this as solid.)
What fans don’t know is what happened to Drew between that time his “brother” Franco (Roger Howarth) pushed him down the stairs, and Robin (Kimberly McCullough) found the guy with Jason’s (Steve Burton) face, he got hit by a car, got a new face (Billy Miller), called himself Jake, and eventually ended up convinced he was Jason Morgan. (The memories helped.)
So, that’s a pretty big gap to fill. Are you looking forward to getting filled in? Over 8,000 viewers shared their thoughts:
Where Have You Been, Where Are You Going?
It’s a landslide! A whopping 95% of you aren’t just expecting answers, you’re demanding them.
The most interesting thing about Drew is what he was up to prior to getting implanted with Jason’s memories – and who did it.
You suspect that, somewhere in there, he had more than a passing fancy with Kim (Tamra Braun) – and that Oscar (Garren Stitt) is a bit more than the boyfriend of his (former) best friend’s daughter. So, that’s 10 minutes of his time. Now, what about all the rest?
Firing Blanks
And then there’s the tiny, 5% minority that likes the idea of Drew being a blank slate. This way, he can be anything he wants. He’s got no baggage – and no expectations – to live up to.
That explains why his version of Jason didn’t instantly fall in line with the Sonny Before All program. He actually put Sam (Kelly Monaco) and their kids first. He was pleasant to Monica (Leslie Charleson). He got out of the mob business. You hope he never learns anything about his past that might change that.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
