What Are The Chances That General Hospital’s Britt Never Had Huntington’s At All?

Cullum and Sidwell may have been lying to her for years.

General Hospital‘s Britt is doing Cullum’s and Sidwell’s dirty work for one reason and one reason only: they are keeping her alive with an unknown Huntington’s medication. What if she doesn’t have the disease and never did?

Key Takeaways

  • Britt was devastated when she was diagnosed with Huntington’s.
  • Sidwell and Cullum took her away after she was “hooked.”
  • They threatened her with meds to keep her working for them.
  • The whole thing may be a farce, and Britt is perfectly healthy.

Britt’s Huntington’s

The story goes that Faison (Anders Hove) had Huntington’s Disease. When Britt felt symptoms, she got tested, and Jason (Steve Burton) was there to support her. The test was positive, and she was devastated.

A few months later, she was stricken by the Hook Killer and “died” in her mother’s arms. Only she didn’t die. She was brought back to life by Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) so she could build their prototype for Faison’s final project. They threatened her with meds that would keep her alive, so she did what they asked.

This has become one big mess, and Rocco (Finn Carr) is falling apart. Britt’s solution is to disappear, which means she will die. But will she?

Did She Ever Have It?

Britt went elsewhere to be tested for the horrible disease. She knows better than anyone not to trust any results out of GH because they are known to be tampered with. When she was positive, she (and we) took it as the truth.

Things are not always as they seem in Port Charles. The symptoms that she had years ago may not have been related to Huntington’s at all, but the WSB double agent may have had his eyes on her. He may have had a hand in creating a false positive to manipulate her into doing his bidding.

Heather’s (Alley Mills) hook may have been a coincidence, but it was good fortune for Cullum and Sidwell because it was their way to get Britt away from those she loves. They may have been lying to and manipulating her the whole time. The meds they have been giving her could be a placebo, and there is a very good chance that Britt is completely healthy.

What a relief that would be. Britt will live, Jason will return, and Rocco will be happy. The problem is that she lost years of her life, and the villains need to pay for that. That will hopefully come soon. Do you believe Britt never had Huntington’s? Let us know your thoughts.
