General Hospital‘s Britt has been working on the prototype for who knows what for years. It is almost finished, but she decided to put a stop to everything and leave Port Charles. What now?
Key Takeaways
- Britt wants to save Rocco.
- If she leaves town, the project will stop, making everyone safer.
- Rocco knows that she will die without her meds.
- The two have formed a special bond.
Britt Is Done
Things have gone too far. Britt (Kelly Theibaud) agreed to work for Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in exchange for meds to keep her Huntington’s at bay. Now, people are getting hurt. Jason (Steve Burton) was taken away, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) was murdered, and now Rocco’s (Finn Carr) life is in danger.
Britt certainly doesn’t want her Huntington’s symptoms to reappear, and she doesn’t want to die, but she doesn’t know how else to save Rocco and put a stop to everything Sidwell and Cullum are doing. Her solution is simple; she needs to leave town. The prototype will not be finished, and it will end, or at least delay, Faison’s final project, but it will cost her her life.
This proves how much Britt has changed. She is putting herself last and others first, especially Rocco.
Rocco Is Heartbroken
Rocco only recently discovered that it was Britt, not Lulu (Alexa Havins), who gave birth to him. He was very curious about her, but she was thought to be dead at the time. Once she reappeared, Rocco wanted a relationship with both her and Liesl (Kathleen Gati), much to Lulu’s dismay.
They have grown close over the months, and Rocco confided in her that he shot Cullum. Dr. Westbourne sees the guilt he is carrying and that he is about to reach a breaking point. The only way she can help him is to leave Port Charles, so she told him she would do just that.
Rocco was heartbroken, especially when he put the pieces together and realized that she would die without her meds. Britt is giving up her life for him. He loves her and told her so. She said it right back, happy to know how he cares for her. The sacrifice is worth it to know that he will be safe. It was a very touching moment.
Odds are, she will not have to leave because the situation is coming to a head, and Sidwell and Cullum’s dirty deeds will be revealed. Will Rocco and Britt retain their strong bond? How will Lulu feel about that? What are your thoughts?
