Well, That Was Quick! Tonja Walker Wraps Up Her GH Run

We knew it wouldn’t be forever, but we didn’t realize Tonja Walker’s return to daytime as Olivia Jerome on General Hospital would be this short.

According to the actress’s Facebook page, she taped her last scenes today, but they won’t air until mid-March. So, we still get Olivia around for another month although we were hoping for longer.

We assume Olivia won’t be killed (or at least a body won’t be found) since Walker posted that she hopes to return to GH again one day.

Walker only made her debut in January as a resurrected Olivia Jerome, a character thought dead since 1990. Since Olivia seems to be the one responsible for Morgan’s death and Sonny is gunning for his son’s killer, she might succumb to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) wrath sooner than we expected. Would this also leave the door open for a Julexis reunion?

As for the actress, she seemed pragmatic about the situation and tweeted that she just couldn’t wait to get home back east and see her husband, daughters–and her own bed.
