He’s already come back once before (for Sonny’s fantasy episode), but it looks like fan fave Dominic Zamprogna back taping scenes as Dante on General Hospital. A tweeted pic from a GH dressing room gave it away today.
According to Soap Opera Digest, he is in a temporary dressing room because Josh Swickard now occupies his old one. However, Zamprogna is NOT back for good.
Thankfully, he is back for more than one episode like last year when he appeared as a mobster Dante in Sonny’s cop mind. Perhaps we will actually see what’s been going on with Dante and why he wasn’t there when Lulu was attacked.
Maybe Lulu will also be able to move forward with a life without Dante. (Although we would prefer to see the character back for good.)
The actor first joined the show in June 2009 as Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) son. He opted to exit the show last year and Dante’s absence was explained by saying he’d gone a mission where he’s been incommunicado.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
