Things took some dramatic turns this week in Port Charles, and you won’t miss a moment with this General Hospital recap for September 16-20, 2024.
Some people’s freedoms are on the line in Port Charles, while even more lives are in danger in Somalia.

After a visit from Sam (Lindsay Hartley), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) got questioned by a detective who informed her that her vehicle was seen at the Quartermaine Mansion the night of the murder.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) finally came face-to-face with Ric (Rick Hearst) and after finding out he was representing Ava (Maura West), the brothers had it out over Alexis, their daughters, and their childhoods.
Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) showed up at GH and informed Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) that his dad went to find Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). When he later overheard his mom tell Elizabeth that she was worried Jason wouldn’t make it back, he assured her he would, while Cody (Josh Kelly) visited Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and introduced himself to a comatose Lulu.
Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Stella (Vernee Watson) met for lunch and Stella asked if she plans to go back to school. Trina said she’s still not ready since Spencer’s (ex-Nicholas Alexander Chavez, who debuted in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story last week) death, but Stella convinced her to get back to doing what she enjoys.
A shirtless Drew (Cameron Mathison) ran into Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) doing yoga near the boathouse and Willow almost fell from the sight. She later confided in Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) about her feelings for Drew after Sasha admitted to seeing them kiss on the Fourth of July.
Each Davis girl set out on a mission before their mom’s bail hearing; Kristina visited Alexis at the PCPD and admitted she went to the Q Mansion the night of the murder, Sam questioned Michael (Chad Duell) about what he knew about Kristina, and Molly asked Sonny not to show up at the hearing. Later, Alexis defended herself against a federal agent and the judge denied bail, forcing Alexis to remain in Pentonville until her trial.
Ric went to Pentonville to see Heather (Alley Mills) and broke the news to her that her blood test revealed the Cobalt in her system hadn’t changed, meaning she committed all her crimes regardless of the Cobalt poisoning. Later, he got the results of a different blood test and Elizabeth confirmed that the results from GH showed a much higher level of Cobalt in Heather’s system compared to the other results, while Alexis was transferred to Pentonville and wound up with Heather as a cellmate.
Meanwhile, Sonny hired Martin (Michael E. Knight, who returned to GH) to defend Alexis while Kristina met with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) to finally get bereavement help.
After arriving in Somalia, Jason and Anna went to a casino to track down Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and wound up spotting Holly (Emma Samms) with him. Jason played poker against the crime lord while Anna managed to steal his phone, but Holly caught her.
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) visited Lulu and Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) at GH until Jordan (Tanisha Harper) barged in and kicked Cyrus out of Isaiah’s room, while Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) sneaked to the hospital to see his mom. Dante caught him and went with him to see Lulu.
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) went to Bobbie’s and apologized to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for spilling the beans about her mom and Sonny, while Ric and Elizabeth did some more bonding.

It was date night at The Savoy for Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia and Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow, while Nina and Drew showed up. Nina convinced Drew to hand over Aurora so he could focus on his campaign, and she alluded to Michael that he’d be the acting CEO pick without realizing Drew already gave the position to Curtis. Meanwhile, Willow panicked when she saw Drew and attempted to flee the club.
At the casino in Somalia, Anna told Holly they were there to find Lucky and save Lulu’s life, so she agreed to help them. Jason continued winning the games, frustrating Sidwell, who was warned by another player of the conversation he overheard Holly and Anna have. He invited Anna and Jason back to his compound, unbeknownst to them all that he’s on to them. An injured Lucky was thrown in a cell where he imagined talking to Elizabeth (giving fans an unexpected LL2 reunion!) before deciding he needed to break free for his family.
