Ava used Mike’s illness as a weapon against Sonny on General Hospital, even though he threatens to have her daughter Kiki testify for him and say she’s unfit.
Ava (Maura West) still knew that Sonny (Maurice Benard) wouldn’t want to risk his father’s freedom and would be willing to do almost anything to not put him through a court battle so she had one ace up her sleeve and decides to play it at the end.
