WATCH NOW: Maurice Benard and Dominic Zamprogna’s Final Scene Together

It’s the end of a father-son era on General Hospital, as this week marks the last scenes Maurice Benard and Dominic Zamprogna will share together.

In fact, the scenes aired on Tuesday with very little fanfare, but Benard confirmed those were indeed his final moments with his longtime co-star.

A fan posted a video of the scene on Twitter and asked if it was the last one and Benard responded with “Yes” and a tearful emoji.

The scenes were quiet and poignant as we knew Dante just did a big favor for his father and then they caught up with small talk. Dante and Sonny then hugged and casually said they’d see each other around.

But will they? We still don’t know if GH plans to recast the role, send Dante away, or kill him off.

Our guess is that he will be killed off as he’s becoming embroiled in the Nelle storyline. which is bound to and badly for someone – and not just with a trip to Ferncliff.
