Veteran General Hospital (GH) star Laura Wright had quite the dramatic year as a mother dealing with the loss of her son and a wife dealing with a destroyed marriage.

Wright’s powerful performance earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Watch the Emmy reel below Carly learns to accept that her son, Morgan, is gone and then deals with the fact that Sonny likely caused the murder.
