VIDEO FLASHBACK: Sonny Tells Carly That Michael Has Died

While Michael’s leading a vibrant and full life now on General Hospital (GH), there was a time when everyone thought he had died — and his mother had to be told the horrible news.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) had received photographic proof that this time it was true — Michael was dead. Even though his heart was broken, he had to be strong for Carly (then Tamara Braun) in order to break the news to her.

At first, Carly refuses to believe it but as it sinks in, she reacts as you would expect and completely breaks down over the news. It’s a performance that will rip your heart out.
