It was a long and winding road for Sean and Tiffany to finally make it to the altar on General Hospital (GH), and the ceremony certainly embodied the humor these two were known for.
Poor Tiffany (Sharon Wyatt) had renamed herself from Elsie Mae Crumholtz as she sought stardom throughout her life. So when the preacher announced her given name, several in attendance couldn’t stop laughing. She tried to hold onto her dignity, despite her intense anger.
Her groom, WSB agent Sean Donnelly (John Reilly), wasn’t much help since this was the first he was hearing of her original name. Best man Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and groomsman Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan), as well as the bridesmaids, were all laughing as well.
In the end, the two did what they came there to do and finally tied the knot. While it probably wasn’t the greatest day in Tiffany’s life–as she was laughed at by most of Port Charles–in the end, she walked off with the prize. She got her man.
