Back in 1994, Maxie was a very sick little girl on General Hospital (GH), in desperate need of a new heart. It looked like she was going to die… until something horrible happened to someone she loved.
As the daughter of Frisco (Jack Wagner) and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner), Maxie was a legacy character who fans adored. Her cousin, BJ, daughter of Tony Jones (Brad Maule) and his late wife, Tania (Hilary Edson) but named after Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) since she delivered her, was also beloved — and Maxie’s cousin.
As Maxie lay dying in General Hospital, the unthinkable happened — BJ was involved in a bus accident and brought in to the hospital, where she was dying. But her death wasn’t going to be for nothing as it was decided that her heart would be given to Maxie.
