VIDEO FLASHBACK: Jason Tells Monica That Emily Was Murdered

Emily Quartermaine was the light of Monica’s life on General Hospital (GH), especially after Jason Quartermaine was pretty much lost to her when he became Jason Morgan. So, when Jason had to break the news to Monica that Emily was killed, it was extra heartbreaking.

Jason (Steve Burton) had always felt a bit of guilt that he couldn’t really connect with the Quartermaines after his accident, but his love for Emily was built anew and he tried hard to protect her from his dangerous new world.

Unfortunately, even he couldn’t save her and then it fell upon him to let their mother know of her death. At first Monica (Leslie Charleson) is in shock, but as the reality hits her and Jason’s part in it, her pain is overwhelming.

She lashes out at Jason for the way he lives his life and the harm it has brought to their family. She’s also acutely feeling the pain of having lost so many loved ones. Take a walk down memory lane with this powerful clip below.
