VIDEO FLASHBACK: Emma’s Very First Day In Port Charles!

General Hospital (GH) and Anna Devane welcomed back Emma Drake to Port Charles Thursday, so Soap Hub thought it might be fun to see the young girl’s first entrance — into the world.

It was a bit more complicated of a pregnancy/delivery because Emma’s mother, Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) contracted HIV as a teenager. There was a huge worry that if anything went wrong, an exchange of blood could happen, putting the infant at risk.

Patrick (Jason Thompson) was there every step of the way, as was nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Things became pretty dicy, and they had to work fast to save the little girl’s life.

Robin even told Patrick that if it came down to one of them surviving, he should save their child. Luckily, it didn’t come down to that and little Emma entered the world just fine. Or so they thought.

Relive those first hours after Robin gave birth and they worried Emma might test positive for HIV. See her family’s love as they share their joy over their newest member’s arrival.
