Back in 1981, everyone was a fan of General Hospital (GH) — including legendary movie star, Elizabeth Taylor, so the show created the role of Helena Cassadine just for her. (Constance Towers was brought in many years later to play the role.)
But that doesn’t mean the transition from film to daytime soap operas was an easy one. In fact, acting opposite Tony Geary (ex-Luke) and Tristan Rogers (ex-Scorpio) was a bit distracting for her as it might be for any fan.
