Ava and Avery General Hospital
Remember when little Avery on General Hospital (GH) was just an adorable little babe known as AJ? For some strange reason, Michael managed to get custody of her – even though they weren’t blood-related – and he re-named her after his dead biological father.
This was when Michael was rejecting all things Corinthos and embracing all things Quartermaine. It was also when Ava was presumed dead and showed up back in town with black hair and a Brooklyn accent and called herself Denise DeMuccio.
In the scene above, Ava as Denise talks her way into the Quartermaine house to see her baby after months without her. When Michael walks in, he allows her to see her ‘niece’ (as she claimed to be Ava’s twin), but then got nervous when she got too possessive.
Ava knew it was her time to leave, but it broke her heart, and to this day she still doesn’t see her daughter nearly enough.
