The fights between Alan and Monica Quartermaine on General Hospital (GH) were legendary. As much as they loved each other, they seemed to fight with just as much passion.

So when Monica (Leslie Charleson) kept the fact that the young girl she was fawning all over was actually her daughter — and Alan (Stuart Damon) found out — he was not a happy man.

And, rather than confront her in private, Alan did what any Quartermaine would do — or at least what his father Edward would have done. He waited until a family dinner to out the fact that his wife was harboring her secret daughter in their midst and how he felt they were plotting against him.

Special note about this scene — actress Christine Jones stepped in temporarily for Jane Elliot as Tracy Quartermaine. So take a walk down memory lane and watch how Alan revealed his displeasure with his wife.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
