Veteran Soap Star Tyler Christopher Reveals He’s Back In Los Angeles

After leaving his role as Stefan DiMera on Days of our Lives in 2019, Daytime Emmy-winning actor Tyler Christopher, also adored for his many years as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital left the Hollywood lights for a quieter life in Indiana. But now the actor reveals that he’s back on the West Coast, giving his fans hope that perhaps they’ll soon see him again onscreen.

Tyler Christopher Is Back Out West

The handsome star shared some great shots on Instagram, including one of him on the beach with the sun setting behind him. “Malibu sunsets, friends that are family, theatre and Sunday Service,” he wrote. “Grateful to be home.” It didn’t take long for his famous friends and former co-stars to chime in with their thoughts on the news.

“I love to see that smile,” wrote Maura West (Ava Jerome Cassadine), who is currently married onscreen to the character he originated as a young up-and-comer on GH. His former GH rival, Ingo Rademacher (Jasper “Jax” Jacks), gave two thumbs up to the post.

Marcus Coloma has since taken over his role of Nikolas and former GH co-star Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny) was brought on to replace him as Stefan, who ended up getting killed by Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) bullet and now plays Stefan’s twin, Jake DiMera. So while neither role is currently available, there are two other soaps in Hollywood — plus it wouldn’t be the first time an actor returns to their former soap as a different character, so there’s always that possibility.

DAYS did that when they brought on Wayne Northrop to play Alex, despite Josh Taylor being there in his original role as Roman Brady. So in daytime, never say never and know that anything can happen. Looking at the comments from fans, it’s a safe bet he would be welcomed back anywhere — they simply want to see Tyler Christopher working again.
