It has been less than a month since Vanessa Marcil lost her best friend, former General Hospital co-star and House Hunters host, Suzanne Whang (whom she lovingly referred to as Bunny), but she revealed that their bond continues in a beautiful way.

Marcil shared an incredible video showing her Instagram followers exactly how her late friend continues to be a presence in her life — and it’s absolutely beautiful and something you should see.
“Tonight I came out to see the new light fixtures at the Wonderland house and she [Whang] started screaming at me through a bird. I said “Hi Bunny”. Then I said “If that’s really you Bunny do something to show me,” wrote Marcil. What happened next was pretty amazing.
“All of the lights suddenly turned on inside the new brass fixtures. Once I shook myself out of disbelief I took this video of the lights and yes that’s her flying through the video. She was always the ham in our relationship & never passed up an opportunity to be on camera. This is the very first time I’ve ever seen these lights lit. Bunny you are such an overachieving as%#$le… 🐰🐰”
Whang, who portrayed Marcil’s GH character’s (Brenda) wedding planner back in 2011, fought an incredible battle against breast cancer for 13 years. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Talking the Talk
The two actresses had a podcast called LoveStop which they used to do together and in the last one, Whang discussed death and was very open about things going on in their lives.
It is clear that Marcil will continue to keep her friend’s memory alive, a truly beautiful testament to the incredible bond these two strong women shared. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
