Coming up in Port Charles

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) asks Cassius (Ryan Paevey), “Is that proof enough for you?” She likely filled him in on Joss and Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) little Five Poppies field trip that nearly blew up in their faces. Cassius isn’t exactly the “take your word for it” type, so of course he’s going to want receipts before he buys any of this.

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) lifts Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) spirits with flowers and a surprise visit, asking, “You up for a visit from your not-so-secret admirer?” Subtle, he is not. Jordan may be with Curtis (Donnell Turner), but the spark with Brick isn’t exactly hiding in the shadows.

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) informs Trina (Tabyana Ali), “I have something really important I need to do.” Translation: she’s about to go poke the “Nathan” situation with a very sharp stick, armed with Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) story about Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and him being handcuffed on the Fourth of July. She’s testing him, plain and simple. The only question is whether he slips.

Elsewhere, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) says to Carly (Laura Wright), “Maybe she has information on Cullum that can help us to bring him down.” He’s probably selling Nina as an asset, which is always a gamble wrapped in a bad idea. And judging by how things are lining up, Carly’s streak of getting away with everything might be running out of road.

And Jack (Chris McKenna) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard), “As far as the WSB is concerned, that’s enough to put him away for life.” Which is a very calm way of saying someone’s about to have a very bad day…permanently.
