Fans absolutely love it when James Patrick Stuart sings on General Hospital as it’s a nice little bonus for Valentin fans seeing the character use his talent to try to woo the love of his life, Nina, back into his waiting arms. (Something he seems to have to do way too often.)
Now, there’s some good news for Stuart fans. You’ll be able to listen to the actor’s music whenever you want.
Stuart first dropped hints that he was putting something together for fans to buy last Christmas and along the way, he’s dropped even more hints about the kind of music he is hoping to have on it.
And while he thought it would be released in April, it looks like it will now be May — and there is a good reason why.
“This will be available Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal, etc… after General Hospital’s 2019 Nurses Ball. Clever, right?”
Clever indeed, since his performance at it the last couple of years has caused a frenzy amongst fans who can’t get enough of his performing. The project is called The Apple Tree, and while the tweet sounded like a definitive date, it looks like there may be a snag in the plan — at least according to a subsequent posting on Instagram.
“New songs at the last minute…. worth the wait. Mid May for sure!!!” he updated after the original tweet.
We already know that he’ll be covering some of his father’s songs. In case you don’t already know, his legendary father is Chad Stuart of the duo Chad & Jeremy. Needless to say, mid-May can’t here soon enough!
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
