It’s been a year — doesn’t it seem like longer? — since Nelle switched babies on General Hospital, giving up her and Michael’s newborn, Jonah, to pass off as the baby Brad and Lucas adopted from Willow.
Fans have been dying for the truth to come out. Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) will have to give the tot back to Michael (Chad Duell). Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) will mourn her loss, but at least Shiloh (Coby Ryan MacLaughlin) won’t get to play Daddy.
But what if…what if Nelle (Chloe Lanier) lied, and Jonah/Wiley isn’t really Michael’s (Chad Duell)? Over 8,000 fans considered the possibility:
Blood Will Tell
Leave well enough alone, 90% of you insist. We just sat through a whole entire year of this baby story, and we deserve the payoff of Michael reunited with his son. What we don’t want is another year of drama as Nelle plays paternity roulette.
Considering how many babies in Port Charles end up ultimately being Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) the child will likely still be a Corinthos, anyway.
At least with Michael being the dad, there’s a chance of Jonah being a Quartermaine. He’s Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) great-grandson. Let’s leave him that way.
Liar, Liar, Straight-Jacket On Fire
Finally, a tiny 10% cheer, some movement in this story, instead of the same people having the same conversation about the same things, over and over again. If Wiley isn’t Michael’s, both Michael and Willow can move on — maybe even with each other, and Lucas and Brad get to keep their son.
You’d much rather watch this couple work through the consequences of Brad’s lies, than Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) claiming yet another tot as their own. They’ve already claimed Avery from Ava (Maura West). Be happy with that and the new baby.
