General Hospital (GH) fans have been doing their darnedest to figure how the soap plans to explain the two Jasons, even with a supposedly-dead twin story, with one of them acting as Franco’s imaginary friend for his first few yeas of life.
Soap Hub came up with the possibility that maybe both men are Jasons we have known before.
The one sitting in a Russian hospital is the Jason Morgan we thought of as Stone Cold for over 20 years. And, the one sitting in a hospital somewhere near Port Charles is the one Alan and Monica thought they lost in 1996. We also asked if you agree with us and think it could be true and nearly 5,000 of you weighed in.
Yes, of course one of them is Jason Morgan and one is Jason Quartermaine. It’s the only thing that makes sense and gives us the best of both worlds say 59% of you. You’re sure of it.
After all, ‘Drew’ doesn’t become a new character we barely ever knew. He becomes the Jason Morgan we’ve known ever since a drunk AJ ran his brother into a tree on New Year’s Eve.
Also, the man lying in the PC hospital bed is also not someone we barely knew until he surfaced at GH in 2014. He becomes the son Alan and Monica lost in that tragic car accident. So, yes, best of both worlds.
On the other hand, 32% of you think this is absolutely ridiculous and are not going along with it. You believe Jason Quartermaine really was brain damaged in 1996, resulting in the ‘birth’ of Jason Morgan. That’s the story GH told, and you’re sticking with it.
Then, there are the 9% of you with a wait-and-see attitude on this. Both men could have spent many years being called ‘Jason’–or not.
Of course, in the end the great question is–who will Sam choose?
