It’s a Turkey Day Julexis Shocker on General Hospital

Alexis’s life seems to go from bad to worse on a daily basis ever since Julian put that dagger to her neck on General Hospital.

Unlike the Alexis we have known for 20 years, this Alexis chose to drown her sorrows in the bottle, and it only became worse when Julian walked free and didn’t pay for any of his crimes. Alexis has remained resolute she wants nothing to do with the man she just married in February, but Julian has made no secret he wants a second chance.

Today, Alexis reached a new low as she woke in a strange hotel room half dressed, not remembering what happened the night before. Everyone has noticed her descent into alcoholism–including Julian, but Alexis can’t seem to admit she has a problem.

As she remembers last year’s amusing Thanksgiving in her new house–gifted by Julian–she spends this Thanksgiving being confronted by her ex. What a difference a year makes as Julian calls her out for her reliance on booze.

According to the November 28 issue of Soap Opera Digest, their face-off takes a surprising turn.

“I think fans are going to be pretty stoked when they see what’s going on,” actor William deVry told Digest. “Any time they’re in the same room together, there’s an opportunity for them to get closer.”

In the December 5 issue of Soaps In Depth, actress Nancy Lee Grahn weighed in.
