Try To Remember: Will Drew Ultimately Turn On Sonny On General Hospital?

Drew has a pickle of a dilemma on General Hospital and although he made up his mind, it can easily be changed.

Regain his memories of his past life and lose the last five years, which include Sam (Kelly Monaco), Monica (Leslie Charleson), Danny, Jake, Scout, Kim (Tamra Braun), and Oscar (Garren Stitt), or never remember the man he used to be.

But that’s not the real dilemma. The real dilemma is that Drew (Billy Miller) getting his memory back will also mean remembering something that could help Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson)… and hurt Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Should Drew go for it? Will he? Over 9,000 fans have some very strong opinions about it.

Sonny First
Why is this even a debate, 86% of you wonder? No one should ever do anything that might in any way hurt Sonny. Full stop. Drew knows that as well as anyone.

He owes Sonny for the way he first accepted Drew as Jason and the way Carly (Laura Wright) latched onto him as her best friend. So what if both instantly turned on Drew the minute Original Jason (Steve Burton) returned?

Drew was invited into the Corinthos inner circle for a few years, which means he owes them his loyalty for eternity. Margaux is trying to make Sonny pay for a lifetime of crime. Where’s the justice in that?

Honest Broker
Only a tiny 13% of the audience thinks he will – and should – betray Sonny. Drew doesn’t owe Sonny and company a darn thing, and, besides, he deserves to have his life back.

As for forgetting the five years he had in Port Charles, well… they weren’t that great, were they? Other than Scout, why not forget the rest of the heartbreak?

Monica will still be there for him, and he’ll forge a deeper connection with Kim and Oscar. Fans have been saying “Forget Sam” for the last year. This will get the job done most efficiently.
