The Triumphant Return of Valentin on General Hospital

We knew he couldn’t stay away for long, especially with Claudette claiming he’s the man she so fears on General Hospital.

Sure, the last time we saw Valentin, he was being shipped off to a Greek prison, but he’s a Cassadine after all and there was no way he’d stay locked in a cage. Being the most evil Cassadine of them all apparently gives him an advantage, as well.

Claudette’s (Bree Williamson) crazy story seems to be coming to a head as she wants out of town with Charlotte and Griffin–and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) remains in danger thanks to all her lies. That means it’s just the right time for James Patrick Stuart to return to Port Charles as another lunatic member of the C clan.

“I hit the ground running,” Stuart told Soap Opera Digest of his first stint as Valentin over the summer. “[It was] sort of like a 10-day getting-to-know-you period.”

And, now that he’s gotten to know everyone, he’s thrilled to have another go at it, but it looks like this time he’s going to be working with a whole new crew of people. He’ll get to know Nathan (Ryan Paevey), and maybe we’ll finally learn if the PC top cop is a Cassadine after all. Perhaps he has more to do with Valentin than we ever imagined.
