Tops of the Polls: Fans Reveal their Favorite General Hospital Couple!

Once upon a time, General Hospital was known for its super couples and practically invented the phenomenon.

Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica (Leslie Charleson). Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis). Robert (Tristan Rogers) and – take your pick – Holly (Emma Samms) or Anna (Finola Hughes) – and, for Anna, some fans still swear by Duke (Ian Buchanan).

Frisco (Jack Wagner) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner). Sonny (Maurice Benard)… and many Carlys (Sarah Brown, Tamara Braun, Laura Wright). Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante (Dominic Zamparonga). But who are the fan favorites at right this very moment? Here’s how over 16,000 fans voted:

Wham, Bam, Thank you, Sam
It’s Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) for the win, with 34% of the vote. This couple has been through nearly everything possible, including a psycho messing with Sam and making her think he’d raped her – and fathered Danny.

They also dealt with Jason’s “death,” return from the dead, and the part where the guy they thought was Jason returned from the dead wasn’t. But here’s the real Jason. How many couples can say they’ll fall in love with each other…even when they’re different people?

They may be relatively new in Port Charles, but Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) have already won over 29% of the audience. She’s an escapee from a cult who thinks the baby she gave up for adoption is alive and well.

He’s a cop…with not great taste in women. They could both use a fresh start. And you’d like it to be with each other.

To Forgive Is Divine
Hey, funny story: Remember the psycho from Jason and Sam’s romance? He’s totes reformed now, and married to Liz (Rebecca Herbst), not to mention playing substitute daddy to her three boys. Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz are tops with 20% of you.

Old School
In the last place are the aforementioned Sonny and Carly, winning over only 15%. Been there, done that. Not so excited about it these days…
