Top Doc: Who Should Be General Hospital’s Next Chief Of Staff?

Despite the cops and robbers on the front burner 24/7, it’s important to remember that the show is still called General Hospital. Which means who gets to be the head of that titular hospital is somewhat important.

Leading Candidate — Britt Westbourne

Almost half of the audience, 47%, see Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) as the best woman for the job. Sure, she’s got a criminal past. But this is Port Charles. Who doesn’t. So she stole Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) embryo and passed the baby off as hers and Patrick’s (Jason Thompson). And, sure, she’s currently sleeping with a hitman. In the great scheme of things, she’s still the most conservative choice.

Are You Experienced To Work At General Hospital?

Monica (Leslie Charleson) held this job before, 36% of you remind. She can hold it again. So she helped Carly (Laura Wright) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) commit medical fraud that cost the hospital millions of dollars from Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) lawsuit. But, let’s be honest, other than watching Danny and Scout after Sam (Kelly Monaco) drops them off at the Quartermaine mansion for the eighth time that week, what else does Monica have to do?

Invisible Ink

Terry (Cassandra James) currently has one purpose: Drag her out to make a political point, then stuff her back in the closet until the next time. At least as Chief of Staff, she’ll have a better shot at being a three-dimensional person and getting a real story, 12% say.

Who He?

Austin (Roger Howarth) is a doctor, a meager 5% shrug. We’re not sure why he’s in Port Charles or what purpose he serves so, yeah, sure, let’s make him chief of staff. Why not?
