It looks like Jane Elliot is wrapping up her General Hospital (GH) stint sooner than we expected, according to some social media tweets.
The new art mystery introduced by ex-husband Larry Ashton seems like Tracy’s exit story. According to a tweet Wednesday night that has since been deleted by Robert Palmer Watkins, he taped his last scenes with Elliot yesterday.
And now fans have to wonder if Tony Geary will make an encore appearance on the soap he left in 2015 to whisk Tracy away to wherever he’s been living for nearly two years.
Geary was clearly on the GH set, and Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) posted a pic of the moment to her Instagram earlier on Thursday. She also posted a pic of herself with Elliot, so Geary could be there for a behind-the-scenes goodbye OR an on-camera Tracy exit.
When we last saw Luke, he had chosen to leave town after facing his childhood demons, rescuing Lucky, and summarily being rejected by Tracy one last time. Laura had moved on with her life, Tracy was ready to move on with hers, so Luke took this chance to walk off into the fog not to be heard from again.
With Elliot leaving the show this spring, Tracy taking off with Luke would be just the story she needs for fans to know she’s okay out there and know Tracy and Luke could always return one day.
Soap Hub will keep you informed as we learn more about this possibility.
