Time For a Triangle? Is This What General Hospital Fans Want To See?

Everyone loves a soap opera triangle, right, General Hospital fans? Those things never get out of hand, especially among passionate fan bases. But, in order for the triangle to work, viewers have to care about each of the characters enough to know why they should — or shouldn’t — be together.

Do Peter (Wes Ramsey), Lulu (Emme Rylan), and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) fit the bill? Two of them are legacy characters, the children of legendary couples Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis), and Frisco (Jack Wagner) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), respectively.

They were born on-screen and fans watched grow up — and go through several different faces along the way. The third is the retconned son of a beloved heroine (maybe)…and the villain who’s been obsessed with her for years. Do you want to see a Lulu/Peter/Maxie triangle? Here’s what over 4,000 said.

Make It Go Away!
No, 87% of the audience screams, that would be an abomination! For one thing, Lulu is still technically married. Her husband is off getting therapy for his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He didn’t abandon her and Rocco!

Second, Maxie is the widow of the man whose death Peter was partially responsible for! And she’s got some pretty scary in-laws in Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Liesl (Kathleen Gatti).

And third and most important, Peter, himself, is the abomination. The sooner it’s proven he’s not even Anna’s (Finola Hughes) son, the sooner he can disappear. And our long, national nightmare will be over.

Convince Me
A more open-minded 13% of you think this could be fun! No one in this triangle is exactly “good,” though Peter tilts more towards the “bad” side.

There’s potential for some scheming and some fur flying. And that’s just these characters parents! Anna and Liesl could be in-laws!
