A string of cryptic tweets and Instagram posts from Vanessa Marcil have General Hospital fans dreaming about a Brenda return.

“Big news coming… We are coming home,” Marcil shared, along with a photo of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brenda sharing a kiss. The timing couldn’t be better.

Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny have been on the outs ever since Morgan’s death. As a result, a despondent Sonny has resorted to drinking to numb his pain.

He could use the love of a good woman to pull him out of his dire depression. Soap Hub asked fans which team they were on, regarding Sonny’s true love.
